Barium titanate dielectric regulation improved output performance of paper-based triboelectric nanogenerator

As a new energy conversion device that can convert mechanical into electrical energy, triboelectric nanogenerator has attracted extensive attention since its invention. However, environmental performance is limited because the raw materials are mostly synthetic polymer materials. Using green and environmentally friendly cellulose to prepare nanogenerators one of important ways solve above problems. In this study, cellulose/barium titanate composite paper prepared by using bamboo barium carbonate (BaTiO<sub>3</sub>) as combining wet papermaking doping modification. The based (C/BT-TENG) constructed positive friction layer. results show addition BaTiO<sub>3</sub> significantly improves relative dielectric constant paper, output C/BT-TENG increases with augment amount. When amount 4%, open-circuit voltage short-circuit current reach maximum values 118.5 V 13.51 µA, respectively, which 51.3% 41.2% higher than when pure used mechanism regulation improve analyzed modeling method. addition, good operation stability. load resistance 5 MΩ, power density reaches 0.36 W/m<sup>2</sup>, simplying application prospect.
